I'm Andy Robertson: new to the web, but an old hand at MVS.
Over the next few months I will be posting bits of MVS freeware here, along with some of my thoughts about MVS, the web, and software generally

A sample LE condition handler. Code two COPY statements in your cobol mainline. Interrupts will be intercepted with a dump and a message and your program will continue to run. Decimal Data exception, Divide by 0, etc. all caught. Can also be used from C/C++, PL/I, LE-compliant Assembler.

|How to do SMTP and XMITIP. If you have a non-US code page. Just a quick overview.|
Ver 1.4 jul 2003.
Drive the GDDM-PGF CHART utility in batch using a SYSIN-type file of commands. No terminal required.
Create bar charts, tower charts, scatter graphs, pie charts, etc.
These can be printed (on AFP printers), displayed on 3270 terminals, or plotted, or saved as PSEGs.
Or you can convert them to .gifs (using the IBM supplied ADMUGIF utility, which BATCHART calls as required) and put them on the Web, direct from MVS batch!
Ver 3.0 mar 2013
A set of assembler macros useful for building re-entrant assembler programs, parsing and stringing, and some utilities. Supports baseless programming (with IEABRC). Supports a mainline/subroutines configuration getting all working storage in single GETMAIN using an External Dummy section _

which is designed as a "lite" compliment to Lionel Dyck 's very useful XMITIP clist, which we use extensively at our site.
XMITMAIL is a callable subroutine (written in COBOL) which will send an simple plain-text e-mail. It can be used from any LE-compliant calling program.
XMITMAIL is less flexible than XMITIP but much faster: it's designed for the situation where you have to send a large number of different e-mails from one job step.
