The flying saucer drew up to the gate of Madame Tibette's laboratry. As they arrived, Madame Tibette was watching a sky screen. "This is amazing!!!" she said to Bert "These bees are like a giant eclipse!!" "SOOO..." spluttered Zoc Bar "That was what it was!!" They explained the tale to Madame Tibette. "Hmmmmm......." she said "Well I'm almost certain that these creatures are SPACE BEES, or rather, LIGHT BEES. These creatures are giant bees, and instead of looking for honey, they look for LIGHT!!!! THEY ARE AFTER ZOG'S SUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "BUT!!!" trembled Zoc Bar 12 "Isn't there anything we can do???" "Of course!! Now let me explain: Does anyone know how bees communicate? No? Well, I'll tell you. They wiggle their bottoms! If one Space Bee wiggles it's bottom, it'll probably be saying "LOOK! Come on, THERES SOME LIGHT OVER THERE!!!" Well,to stop these bees from eating our Sun, we'll have to direct them to Betelgeuse, a giant sun ten times as big as ours. D'you see? So I am going to get the Space Marines to come to the Space Beehive, dress up as bees and wiggle their bottoms to tell them to go to Betelgeuse. Come on, there's no time to lose!!!"

 

"Oh Captain Klunk,PLEASE!!! do this!!!" pleaded Madame Tibette "It's for Zog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" "For Zog!!" said Klunk "An invasion from Space? At once!   "RED ALERT!! SCRAMBLE!! SCRAMBLE!! ..." .   "No, no!" Said Madame Tibette "We don't need battlecruisers! You must wear these costumes...." Madame Tibette gave them their costumes and the Space Marines began to practice. Some of them were reluctant. "I didn't join the Marines to wiggle my bottom, sarge!" "Soldier! You'll do it for Zog!!" "Now,Sally and Zoc Bar," said Madame Tibette "You two and me are going to dress as bees and try and find out more information about these unknown creatures!!" Sally and Zoc Bar were thrilled!!!!!!

 

Up into space soared Madame Tibette's flying saucer. "We're nearly there now, Marines go out here and attract the bee's attention. Sally, Zoc Bar, come this way." The Marines were assembled near the bees. "And left 2, forward 4, right 6, AND...AGAIN!" The Marines had to move towards Betelguse while wiggling their bottoms, then turn round and jet back to their starting position. As they did this, the bees clustered round them. Slowly, slowly, the great swarm began to move towards the mighty red sun.

 

Madame Tibette led Sally and Zoc Bar 12 toward the center of the swarm. The bees watched them, but did not hurt them.     They floated down a rainbow-colored tunnel, which turned out, somehow, to be made of solid light. When Sally licked the wall, it was like nothing she had ever tasted. It was rich, creamy, and tasted like butter and sugar. Sally wished she could eat the entire tunnel!! This was the Space Bees' Light-honey!! It was almost as delicious as Chocolate!! Suddenly, out stepped none other than the Queen Bee!!! "You are not one of my people!" buzzed the bee. "You can TALK!!!!" gasped Zoc Bar. "Your Majesty," said Madame Tibette, curtseying in her bee costume. "We've come here to tell you of Betelguese. Betelguese is a planet near here, and it has almost 10 times as much light there as there is here!" "Then we shall go there!!" hummed the bee "And in return, we will give you some Light Honey!!"

 

And ever since then, the bees have been Zog-friendly!!!!   As for the Space Marines, luckily the newspapers didn't get hold of the part THEY played!! But we know, don't we!
